I absolutely LOVE to photograph weddings and elopements in McCall, Idaho! Something about the low-key tone, the most gorgeous scenery, and down-to-earth couples make this aspect of my job the most rewarding. People often travel from miles around to get hitched in our gorgeous town. Whether they are local, from Boise, or elsewhere, there is something so romantic, so absolutely special, that makes having an elopement or wedding in McCall, Idaho a dream come true.

One thing that sets McCall apart from many locations is the seasons. From the fresh scents of spring to the long clear days of summer, to the lovely colors of fall to thick snow in the winter, it is always a feast for the senses. I have been fortunate to photograph numerous weddings and elopements in McCall, and each time, I am on the biggest high for days. Witnessing the expression of true love, and being asked to document it in my favorite place is my highest honor. Whether it’s along Payette Lake, at Ponderosa State Park, up at Burgdorf Hot Springs, at Blackhawk on the Lake, out in remote Payette National Forest, over in historic Roseberry, or in the backyard of a private home, I have a backlog of experience to make your wedding photographs truly outstanding. Have a vision of a barn wedding out in the country? No Business Lodge, and Ranch View Venue are two of the many wonderful country barns nearby. I am happy to steer you to your dream desination. There is no shortage of fantastic spots to get hitched!

I strive to create images that depict not only the love and radiance of my couples, but also compliments the unique natural surroundings in McCall. I view the world from an artistic background and have been told my photography exudes emotion and could almost be considered painterly, which I receive as the highest compliment. Quite often, my favorite photos from the weddings and elopements are the unplanned, honest moments I witness. Sure, we can easily do your family and wedding party portraits, but those which are a bit off-beat or a bit more candid are my favorites. When I share these heartfelt photographs with couples and their families and I get an enthusiastic emotional response, I feel I have truly succeeded in my job. 💫
