We hired her fairly short notice after our wedding reception plans in Washington changed for the 3rd time and we decided to go in a completely different direction and have a small intimate family celebration at a rental house at Tamarack. She was super responsive and a pleasure to work with. She scoped out potential ceremony shots beforehand and was flexible when the plans changed yet again on the day of. She’s charismatic and made everyone in our group feel comfortable- they continue to rave about her still! She had great intuition and was efficient. My husband, who was hesitant about the necessity of golden hour photos, said he was glad we went through with them (which Amy strongly recommended- but dudes, ya know?!). It was well worth it! “Amy is such a pleasure to work with and so accommodating. Our family was scheduled to have a session with her on the beach, but it was storming. She called beforehand to check in with us and asked what we wanted to do (reschedule or do an indoor session at our house), I wanted to take our chances (had our four girls dressed and ready to go- no easy task) and wait in the car at the beach until we got a break from the rain. Amy supported my idea and met us in the parking lot at the beach. She hopped in our car with a smile and umbrella... a few minutes later the rain stopped, so we all jumped out of the car and ran down to the beach. Amy, worked quickly and took the most amazing pictures of our family. We got lucky and had a full session with her before it started raining again. Amy, sent us our pictures to view from our session before the date she promised us and we loved them! Amy, is such a dear and easy to work with... she has an eye for detail, knows how to work with her subjects and mother nature. We look forward to our next photography session with Amy!”
