In early August, Idaho became our full-time home. We have been here on vacations in summers and winter, but this time it is permanent. Our family ties here go way back.
What an incredible world it is. It has been especially fun to witness the change of seasons - for the most part, this transition in McCall has evaded my awareness. The lake gets lower, the rivers run thinner, the trees put on a magical show and the skies get more striking. If that is even possible. Experiencing the shifting crispness in the air and the moodier light is almost spiritual. It is so good to be home.
